Upgrade busycal6/7/2023 ![]() Once you restore your backup and Bus圜al is able to push everything back the iCloud CalDAV server, your to-do only calendars will continue to sync without issues. ![]() You need to right-click on this calendar and choose the "Move to iCloud" option or manually select all to-dos in List view and drag them to the appropriate calendar under your iCloud account. Choose the most recent backup you created in step 1 and click Open, then check the same calendar you selected in step 4 and click Restore.ĭouble-click on the ics files you exported in step 5, or drag them into Bus圜al, to import the events and place them on the appropriate calendar.Īfter importing your to-dos, if these got imported under "On My Mac" - that would be a local calendar on your machine, which won't sync to iCloud. Choose one of the recent backup files and click Open, then select the calendar that contains the events you wish to recover and and click Restore.įind the missing events and drag them to your Desktop to create ics files of each. When in offline mode Bus圜al will not sync with iCloud, Google, Exchange or any other services. Launch Bus圜al while holding down the option key to display the Startup Options dialog, then select Start in Offline Mode and click Continue. If you don't want to restore an entire calendar and lose any recent changes that were made since the last backup, you can restore specific events from the backup as follows:Ĭreate a new backup in Bus圜al by selecting File > Create Backup. Note: That any events that have been created or edited since the backup will be lost when you restore from the backup. You'll be presented with a list of your calendars, check the calendars you want to restore, click Restore and they will be restored from the backup, overwriting their current contents. If you wish to restore your calendar from one of these backups, select File > Restore Bus圜al, select a backup file and then click Open. You will need to set these up again as explained here.īus圜al automatically backs up your Bus圜al database every day and saves your last 10 backups. There is more on this here.ĭuring migration, Reminders will also remove Calendar sharing from any calendars you were previously sharing with others. ![]() The only way to restore data would be to restore these from automatic backups Bus圜al creates for you, on a timely basis. The only downside of this would be the inability to use newer features offered by the new Reminders app.
